We have an exciting opportunity for a Legal Secretary to join our Government Public & Regulatory team in Adelaide working with Michael La Vista.

About the role and the team

The group foster a genuine, collaborative, and cohesive team culture. This national team have been acknowledged many times for their commitment to exceptional client experience, technical excellence and to the people who make the team what it is. This is a crucial role that provides administrative support to Michael and his team.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • File management across a busy litigation practice.
  • Monthly billing (generating prebills, making necessary amendments, and finalising prebills).
  • Assisting with the preparation of legal documents.
  • Client reporting and compliance.
  • Extensive calendar and inbox management.
  • Ad hoc administrative tasks.

The role is permanent full-time offering some flexibility. It will suit a legal secretary who is looking for a diverse and challenging range of work in a supportive team.

About you

  • Proven experience as a legal secretary, ideally from a high-volume litigation practice.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Proactive approach to work.
  • Highly organised and able to manage competing deadlines and priorities.
