The posting

Responsibilities Data Reconciliation & Validation

  • Support monthly reconciliation of financial data between various reporting sources (ERP systems, consolidation reports, management reports, and Excel-based working files).
  • Perform data validation checks to identify discrepancies, missing records, duplicate entries, and mapping inconsistencies.
  • Investigate variances and assist the Finance team in root cause analysis.
  • Develop and maintain reconciliation trackers and exception reports.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual reconciliation and reporting activities.

Regional GL Glossary Development

  • Compile and consolidate General Ledger (GL) account descriptions from regional entities.
  • Standardize account definitions and naming conventions across countries/business units.
  • Work with finance stakeholders to understand account usage and reporting requirements.
  • Create and maintain a centralized Regional GL Glossary repository.
  • Document account mapping between local chart of accounts and regional reporting structures.

Finance Master Data Governance

  • Support cleansing and validation of master data relating to: GL Accounts, Cost Centres, Profit Centres, Inventory and Projects
  • Assist in identifying data harmonization opportunities across entities.
  • Maintain documentation of master data definitions and business rules.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Degree in Business Administration, Accountancy or a related discipline.
  • Strong Excel and data analytical skills are preferred.
