We are looking for a Senior Advisor, Gas Account Management to drive business growth and expand opportunities within our Gas Delivery group. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for some of Enbridge’s largest Industrial and Commercial customers, with a focus on strengthening relationships, growing throughput, and maximizing revenue. You will collaborate across the organization to develop innovative solutions that meet customer needs while supporting Enbridge’s business objectives.

What You Will Do:

  • Serve as the primary relationship contact for assigned large Industrial and Commercial customers, developing strategies to retain and grow customer relationships, throughput, and revenue.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, products, and services that optimize Enbridge’s system assets and support long-term business growth.
  • Lead contract and business negotiations with customers and external business partners, balancing customer needs with company objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor customer needs, market conditions, competitive activity, and emerging opportunities to develop strategies that strengthen Enbridge’s market position and customer satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships and communication channels with key internal teams, external customers, and business partners to deliver timely and reliable customer service.
  • Provide recommendations related to pricing structures, tariff terms, and market strategies to maximize revenue while supporting positive customer outcomes.
  • Lead or contribute to cross-functional initiatives, special studies, and task forces while ensuring business activities comply with applicable legal, regulatory, and Code of Conduct requirements.

Who You Are:

  • Related university degree with six or more years of directly related experience; a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Engineering is preferred.
  • Broad knowledge of the natural gas industry, including distribution, gathering and transmission operations, gas transportation, measurement, storage, and the large Industrial and Commercial market.
  • Understanding of general business and financial processes, customer and market dynamics, regulatory requirements, and the factors that influence business growth and competitive positioning.
  • Demonstrated experience identifying revenue growth opportunities, leading sales processes, negotiating business arrangements, and developing innovative solutions to complex customer needs.
  • Strong communicator and presenter with the ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and collaborate effectively with internal teams, customers, and external business partners.
  • Understanding of basic distribution, gathering, and transmission system operations and knowledge of gas acquisition and transportation skills.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical, planning, decision-making, project management, and organizational skills, with the ability to successfully manage multiple priorities and resources.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and email; Six Sigma certification and experience with relevant business systems are considered assets.

Working Conditions:

  • Typical office environment.
  • Limited travel may be required to support business, project, or operational needs about 25-50%.

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

Mental Requirements (Both Field & Office) include but are not limited to:

Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.

Salary:

  • Ranges from $97,000 – $115,000 USD for US locations based upon candidate’s experience, skills, and internal equity.
  • Applicable compensation policies and guidelines apply to internal candidates.
