Objetivo/Propósito de la función: Implementar estrategias de protección ambiental optimizando los recursos utilizados en el proceso de producción y minimizando el impacto ambiental negativo de las operaciones empresariales. Desarrollar y ejecutar un plan estratégico para apoyar y mejorar continuamente el conocimiento, las habilidades y el entorno de aprendizaje en una organización multinacional de ingeniería y manufactura de tamaño mediano y alta variedad de productos.

Autoridad: Mantener comunicación con todas las áreas para la implementación y el cumplimiento de la Política y las directrices ambientales. Consultar el documento FMI-143 para conocer los Procedimientos Operativos Estándar individuales relacionados con las autoridades y responsabilidades dentro del Sistema de Gestión.

Responsabilidades principales:

• Responsable del mantenimiento del Sistema de Gestión Ambiental. • Liderar el Programa de Auditoría Ambiental. • Apoyar el Plan de Sostenibilidad de Spellman. • Realizar auditorías internas sobre requisitos legales ambientales.

• Participar en auditorías externas relacionadas con asuntos ambientales. • Identificar, desarrollar, implementar y mantener el cumplimiento de los requisitos normativos locales, estatales y federales en materia ambiental. • Apoyar el cumplimiento legal en materia de seguridad y salud ocupacional. • Supervisar el cumplimiento de los programas y objetivos ambientales. • Generar y analizar gráficos de desempeño ambiental. • Apoyar actividades relacionadas con la gestión integral de residuos para ambas plantas. • Desarrollar el contenido de cursos sobre temas ambientales. • Capacitar a los empleados en asuntos ambientales. • Dar seguimiento a la implementación de sugerencias de mejora ambiental. • Gestionar trámites ambientales ante las autoridades competentes. • Liderar investigaciones sobre incidentes ambientales. • Revisar el cumplimiento ambiental en las áreas de proceso. • Asegurar que se considere minimizar el impacto ambiental en nuevos proyectos o modificaciones a procesos existentes para su aprobación. • Cumplir con el Código de Conducta (Ética). • Cumplir con la Política de Salud, Seguridad y Medio Ambiente, siguiendo los procedimientos e instrucciones de trabajo aplicables a sus actividades para contribuir a los objetivos y metas establecidos.

Competencias/Habilidades:

Rango/Nivel: (1-Básico, 2-Intermedio, 3-Avanzado, 4-Experto)

• Licenciatura en Ingeniería Ambiental. • Experiencia de 10 años en el puesto o experiencia similar. • Conocimiento de normas ambientales de las entidades gubernamentales correspondientes. (3)

• Conocimiento de la norma ISO 14001 y sistemas de gestión. (3)

• Conocimiento de requisitos legales en materia ambiental. (3) •Comprensión de requisitos legales básicos en seguridad y protección (CTPAT, OEA). (2) • Conocimientos de Lean Manufacturing (ventaja adicional) • Nivel intermedio de Microsoft Office. (3) • Nivel intermedio de inglés hablado. (2) • Habilidades interpersonales. (3) • Altos valores éticos. (4) • Conocimiento y comprensión de los sistemas de gestión ambiental y de calidad en sus versiones vigentes (p. ej., ISO 14001, 9001). (3)
