SPIE Belgium helpt haar klanten bij het ontwerpen en realiseren van hun technische uitrusting en bij de exploitatie en het onderhoud van hun installaties.

Heb je stevige ervaring in piping, metaalconstructie, laswerken of industriële projecten? Ben je gewend aan een projectomgeving en klaar om een volledige afdeling te leiden?Voor onze afdeling Piping & Mechanical in Geel zoeken we een ervaren manager die techniek, mensen en business weet te verbinden.

Jouw afdelingJe neemt de leiding over een ervaren technische afdeling met 54 vaste medewerkers, aangevuld met externe collega's, en twee ruime lasateliers.Samen realiseren jullie maatwerk voor klanten in onder andere petrochemie, farmacie, metallurgie, voeding, bouw en nucleaire energie.

Onze expertise:

  • Piping en leidingbouw
  • Plaat- en constructiewerk
  • Skid- en collectorbouw
  • Drukvaten volgens PED & ASME
  • Prefabricatie en laswerken
  • Installatie on-site

Van engineering en prefabricatie tot montage bij de klant: jouw afdeling beheerst het volledige traject.

Wat ga je doen?Als Department Manager krijg je een brede verantwoordelijkheid:

  • People: je coacht en stuurt project managers, project engineers en ateliermedewerkers aan.
  • Operations: je zorgt voor een efficiënte organisatie, duidelijke prioriteiten en een goede samenwerking tussen projecten en atelier.
  • Projecten: je bewaakt capaciteit, kwaliteit, veiligheid en een succesvolle uitvoering.
  • Klanten: je onderhoudt sterke klantenrelaties en detecteert samen met je team nieuwe opportuniteiten.
  • Business: je volgt omzet, rendement en KPI's op en stuurt bij waar nodig.
  • Strategie: je bouwt mee aan de verdere groei van de afdeling, nieuwe activiteiten en markten.

Je staat daarbij dicht bij je mensen én dicht bij de business.

Wie zoeken we?Je hebt vooral de juiste ervaring en technische bagage:

  • Ervaring binnen piping, mechanical, metaalbewerking, laswerken, constructie, ...
  • Ervaring in een projectmatige technische omgeving
  • Idealiter ervaring bij een industriële aannemer of technisch dienstverlener
  • Ervaring met het aansturen van mensen, projecten en/of een operationele organisatie
  • Technische affiniteit en voldoende financieel inzicht
  • Commerciële feeling en een sterke klantgerichtheid
  • Een mensgerichte maar duidelijke leiderschapsstijl

Een specifiek diploma vinden we minder belangrijk dan de juiste combinatie van ervaring, leiderschap en ondernemerschap.
