JOB SUMMARY: The Migration Assistant is a temporary role supporting our company-wide transition to the new point of sale. This role will be working on small team at store locations, the support center, and at our warehouse to prepare, move, install, and test equipment. Other duties as assigned by project manager.   ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned:

Assist with the physical setup and takedown of equipment during at stores Help prepare and stage equipment in advance of installations Help in testing and verification by following written and verbal instructions Complete assigned tasks within specific timelines Work as a member of a fast-paced, deadline-driven team Other - duties as assigned by supervisor.

Must have reliable transportation to and from stores, support center, and warehouse. • Ability to follow detailed checklists and procedure • Physically able to lift 30 lbs, work on ladders, and stand for extended periods • A positive attitude and willingness to learn   LANGUAGE SKILLS:  Effectively present information to customers, associates and management.  Must display professionalism during all communications.  Information received regarding business affairs must be kept confidential.  Ability to read, analyze and interpret general reports and correspondence.  Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from associates, customers, regulatory agencies or members of the business community.  Must be able to speak, read and write in the English language.   MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:  Ability to work with and apply mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.   REASONING ABILITY:  Must possess the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations where limited standardization exists, and use initiative and sound, independent judgment when performing duties.  Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form is necessary.   CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Current SC Driver’s License, required auto insurance, reliable means of transportation and acceptable Motor Vehicle Report.   PHYSICAL DEMANDS:  The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions for this job.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for extended periods of time, perform assigned job duties under constant time pressures and highly interruptive conditions, maintain visual attention and mental concentration for significant periods of time.  The employee will also regularly stand, walk, climb step stool, balance, stoop, bend, kneel or crouch.  The employee will regularly lift and/or move up to ten pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to twenty-five pounds.   WORK ENVIRONMENT:  The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.  While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, and extreme cold and/or heat.   The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.   The Company has reviewed this job description to ensure that essential functions and basic duties have been included.  It is intended to provide guidelines for job expectations and the employee’s ability to perform the position described.  It is not intended to be construed as an exhaustive list of all functions, responsibilities, skills and abilities.  Additional functions and requirements may be assigned by supervisors as deemed appropriate.  This document does not represent an expressed or implied contract of employment nor does it alter your at-will employment, and the Company reserves the right to change this job description and/or assign tasks for the employee to perform as the Company may deem appropriate.    #spxind
