The posting

This is a volunteer position and any amount of time is appreciated.

Overview:

The Neon CRM Volunteer will play a key role in supporting the organization’s community engagement initiatives by assisting with the management and organization of volunteer records, events, classes, and shift scheduling in the Neon CRM system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage volunteer opportunities and shifts in Neon CRM.
  • Assist with the creation and updating of events and classes within the system.
  • Support volunteer data entry and maintenance, including contact information, hours, and roles.
  • Help monitor volunteer sign-ups and communicate logistics or changes when needed.
  • Generate reports to track volunteer participation and event metrics.
  • Collaborate with staff to ensure all program needs are reflected accurately in Neon CRM.
  • Troubleshoot and flag data inconsistencies or system issues.
  • Provide support for email communications and sign-up forms via Neon CRM tools.

These qualities and skills will be helpful:

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Basic experience with Neon CRM, or willingness to be trained.
  • Comfortable using cloud-based software and data entry systems.
  • An interest in nonprofit operations, volunteer management, or community engagement.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
