The posting

Overview:

This is a volunteer position and any amount of time is appreciated.

An election observer, often referred to as a "poll watcher," is an individual authorized to monitor various stages of the electoral process to ensure transparency, fairness, and adherence to legal protocols. In summary, election observers serve as impartial witnesses to the electoral process, helping to promote transparency and public confidence in the outcomes of elections. Their duties are governed by state-specific laws and regulations designed to balance the need for oversight with the imperative of conducting orderly and fair elections

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring Voting Procedures: Observers are present at polling stations to watch the voting process, ensuring that it is conducted according to established rules and that voters can cast their ballots without obstruction or intimidation.
  • Overseeing Ballot Handling: Observe the handling, processing, and counting of ballots to verify that all procedures comply with legal standards and that there is no tampering or mishandling.
  • Reporting Irregularities: If observers notice any discrepancies or violations of election laws, they are responsible for reporting these issues to the appropriate election officials or authorities for further investigation.
  • Ensuring Compliance with Procedures: Observers help ensure that election officials and workers adhere strictly to prescribed procedures, thereby maintaining the integrity of the election process.

Observers are required to undergo training provided by the County and must adhere to a code of conduct to ensure that their presence does not disrupt the electoral process.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
