The posting

We are seeking a passionate Part-Time O' Level English Teacher to support students in developing strong language proficiency and academic learning abilities. The successful candidate will create engaging learning experiences and help students achieve their educational goals within a supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare lesson plans, learning materials, worksheets, assignments, and assessments that support academic development.
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and student progress.
  • Attend parent-teacher meetings and provide constructive advice
  • Responsible for student academic progress management by marking their assignments and assessments, maintaining and sharing records of student attendance, grades and assessments, identifying students who may need additional student support and addressing students’ individual needs.
  • Responsible for classroom management by establishing and enforcing classroom rules to maintain a productive and safe learning environment for the students.
  • Ensure effective and timely communication by checking and replying to emails and internal messages promptly.
  • Create an inclusive and culturally responsive learning environment

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in English or a related field.

• Previous experience teaching English is required.

• Experience teaching IELTS, O-Level, IGCSE, and/or A-Level English is preferred.

• Strong command of written and spoken English.

• Good classroom management and student engagement skills.

• Able to adapt teaching approaches to support students with different abilities and learning needs.

• Responsible, organised, and committed to supporting students' academic development.
