SRCTec, LLC is seeking an Engineering Technician to join our Process Engineering team. We’re looking for a motivated team player who excels in hands-on tasks, learns quickly, and brings strong problem solving skills to support continuous improvement. This role is ideal for someone eager to grow their technical abilities while contributing to a collaborative, improvement focused environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Support engineers and production personnel during product transition, verification, initial production, and product sustainment production phases.
  • Support assembly and maintenance of material carts which includes assembling new, modifying existing, and supporting part identification.
  • Support assembly and maintenance of hardware storage units which includes assembling new and modifying existing.
  • Support visual management which includes assisting with 6S (Sort, Set In Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, Safety) activities and updating the Production visual management board formats.
  • Assist with work cell layout changes, including planning, moving, etc. production work cells.
  • Maintain the 6S Program inventory (planning, ordering, inventorying, etc.)
  • Support Process Engineering supply area by maintaining our kanban list, replenishing kanban items, managing offsite inventory, and maintaining the 6S program in the Process Engineering area.
  • Assist with Consumables and Chemicals Master List which includes adding new kanban items, assisting with put way, and assisting technicians with issues in the area.
  • Auditing and updating Facility Layout Zone and Emergency maps.
  • Lead small-scale projects with support from Process Engineers
  • Comply with and support company policies and programs regarding safety, quality, compliance, security, etc.

What You’ll Bring

  • Associate’s degree in technical discipline
  • 3+ Years of related manufacturing and production process experience
  • Possess strong mechanical aptitude, basic small‑tool skills, ability to lift up to 20 lbs., and ability to sit or kneel on the floor as needed.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, with excellent written and verbal communication skills

Total compensation for this role is market competitive. The anticipated salary range for this position based out of Syracuse, NY is estimated at $65,000 to $70,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, and abilities, geographic location as well as other business and organizational needs.
