The posting

Barista The Barista is responsible for providing friendly, efficient customer service while preparing and serving high-quality coffee, espresso beverages, and other food and beverage items. This position helps maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming café environment. Key Responsibilities

Greet guests and provide friendly, professional customer service.

Prepare coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and other beverages according to established recipes and standards.

Take guest orders and accurately operate the point-of-sale (POS) system.

Handle cash and credit card transactions according to cash-handling procedures.

Prepare and serve food items as needed.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, counters, equipment, and guest areas.

Restock cups, lids, syrups, ingredients, food items, and other supplies throughout the shift.

Follow proper food safety, sanitation, and health procedures.

Monitor product quality and communicate low inventory or equipment concerns to management.

Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned.

Work collaboratively with team members to provide fast and efficient service.

Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Qualifications

Previous barista, café, restaurant, or customer service experience preferred but not required.

Strong customer service and communication skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.

Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.

Willingness to learn proper beverage preparation and food safety procedures.
