Care Club Assistant

15 hours per week 3:00pm - 6:00pm

38 weeks per year (term time only)

Grade 2 - Scale Point 3

Fixed Term until 31st August 2027

Governors at St. Augustine’s Catholic Primary School are seeking to appoint a Care Club Assistant with a real passion for working with children.

About The Role

The role of the Care Club Assistant is to support the safe supervision and care of pupils after school hours. Responsibilities include organising and supervising activities, assisting with snacks, maintaining a safe and welcoming environment, promoting positive behaviour, and ensuring pupils' wellbeing in line with school safeguarding policies and procedures.

St Augustine’s Catholic Primary School part of Holy Cross Catholic Multi Academy Company, has a responsibility for and is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable groups. All employees and volunteers are expected to share this commitment and to obtain an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and where relevant, a childcare disqualification check.

All successful candidates will be required to present their birth certificate along with evidence of any name changes.
