We are looking for a creative and inspirational teacher to join our teaching team,.

Our school is a two-form entry school, with 60 place nursery on the development of Shilton Park in Carterton. The children and staff often talk about the family of St John’s and the unity within the school, where we all work together and support each other. As a school we are fully committed to ensuring that every child and adult reaches their full potential. Our school was judged ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted in January 2020 and sustained this judgement in May 2025. Noted in the report, ‘Staff are proud to work at the school. They feel greatly supported by leaders and governors.’

You will:

  • Have experience of teaching within Key Stage One.
  • Have a strong commitment to delivering a rich and engaging curriculum, where positive interactions support high quality learning.
  • Have high expectations and a passion for inspiring and motivating children
  • Be innovative and creative
  • Have vision, energy and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Thrive on working as part of a successful team
