St Raphael the Archangel CMAT are looking to recruit a Caretaker. This is a permanent, part time position working 17.5 hours per week, based at St Joseph's Catholic Primary Academy.

St Joseph’s is a warm, welcoming and ambitious Catholic school where relationships matter and everyone is encouraged to flourish. Visitors often comment on our friendly atmosphere, happy children and strong sense of community.

We are looking for:

  • Ability to work under broad direction and laid down procedures.
  • Responsible for managing caretaking services to all buildings forming the school site, ensuring a safe and secure environment.
  • Has good practical maintenance and DIY skills
  • Responsible for undertaking minor or temporary maintenance and repairs.
  • Takes pride in maintaining high standards
  • Understands the importance of health & safety
  • Contributes to the school’s statutory duty to safeguard and promote the welfare of children.
