The posting

About Us

We are a thriving 2 form entry primary school located in the heart of Dorking. As part of our educational offering, we run a popular Breakfast Club as part of our wrap around care provision. Our children are fund and engaging and our school staff team are dedicated and supportive of both the children and each other.

About the Role

We are looking for a warm, reliable, and energetic Breakfast Club Assistant to join our dedicated wraparound care team.

Our breakfast club provides a safe, calm, and engaging start to the school day for our primary-aged children (ages 4-11). You will play a key role in making sure every child has a nutritious breakfast, feels welcomed, and transitions smoothly and happily into their classrooms, ready for learning.

We would like someone to join our team, initially on a Monday and Tuesday morning from 7.30am to 8.45am, during term time. There will be a possibility of increasing your days, if our child numbers increase and you would like to.

The salary for this role is £24,644 FTE, which will be pro-rata'd to the hours. (£119.26 per month for two mornings).

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, serve and clear away breakfast items in a clean, hygienic environment, following food safety guidelines. (training provided)

Supervise and engage with children from Reception through to Year 6 during breakfast and play activities, both inside and outside.

Organise and lead fun, age-appropriate indoor games, crafts, and social activities.

Encourage positive behaviour, good manners, and social interaction.

Ensure the safety, health, and emotional wellbeing of all pupils at all times, adhering to school safeguarding policies.

Assist with basic setup, clear-down, and record-keeping (such as register tracking).

What We Are Looking For

Experience working or volunteering with children aged 4-11 in an educational or childcare setting.

A friendly, patient, and approachable manner with a "can-do" and fun attitude.

Ability to work well as part of a small, supportive team.

Understanding of basic safeguarding, health and safety, and food hygiene (or a willingness to undertake training).

Ability to juggle tasks in a busy environment.

What We Offer

A welcoming, supportive school community.

Access to ongoing training and professional development (including first aid, safeguarding and food hygeine).

Free on-site parking. Access to an Employee Assistance Programme.

Enrolment in the local government pension scheme.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?

No. You pay once per CV, from $25. Every application goes out with its own CV, written for that posting.
