We zijn op zoek naar een gedreven kabinetsmedewerker die mee beleidsmatig wil nadenken, communicatief sterk is en zelfstandig aan de slag kan. Je bent een kei in organisatie, bent stressbestendig, kan werken onder tijdsdruk en gaat discreet om met vertrouwelijke informatie. Je hebt voeling met lokale politiek en schrikt niet terug van een veeleisende werkomgeving en onregelmatige werkuren.

Wat doe je?

Als kabinetsmedewerker maak je deel uit van een dynamisch team dat elke dag werkt aan een beter Mechelen. Je bent een cruciale schakel in de ondersteuning van de burgemeester en het College van Burgemeester en Schepenen en neemt onder meer volgende taken op:

  • Persoonlijke en organisatorische ondersteuning: agenda, afspraken, dagelijkse planning en prioriteiten stellen;
  • Correspondentie en contacten: opvolgen inkomende vragen, uitnodigingen en verzoeken; contacten onderhouden met burgers, verenigingen, organisaties en andere gesprekspartners;
  • Representatieve ondersteuning: werkbezoeken, ontvangsten, plechtigheden en andere publieke activiteiten voorbereiden; uitnodigingen en aanwezigheden coördineren, inhoudelijke opvolging n.a.v. representatieve activiteiten;
  • Inhoudelijke ondersteuning bij beleidsdossiers: informatie verzamelen, adviezen opvragen, voorbereidende nota's opmaken;
  • Ondersteunen van de burgemeester en het voorbereiden van vergaderingen met betrekking tot politie, hulpverleningszone, intercommunales, etc.;
  • Contacten onderhouden met de ondersteunende functies op Vlaamse en federale kabinetten, de provincie, ambassades, andere steden en gemeenten, …

We zoeken iemand die:

  • Erg gedreven is, met een sterke interesse in politiek en beleid
  • Kennis van de bestuurlijke en politieke omgeving van een lokaal bestuur (college van burgemeester en schepenen, stadsadministratie, politie, intercommunales, hulpverleningszone, …)
  • Communicatief en taalvaardig is (schriftelijk én mondeling)
  • Zelfstandig kan werken en proactief meedenkt
  • Flexibel en nauwkeurig is in een uitdagende werkomgeving
  • Discreet omgaat met toevertrouwde opdrachten en informatie
  • Stressbestendig is en kan werken onder tijdsdruk

Selectiecriteria bij bevordering:

  • voldoen aan het functieprofiel
  • titularis zijn van een graad van het niveau B of C4-5
  • minimaal 1 jaar graadanciënniteit
  • een positief evaluatieresultaat tijdens de laatste evaluatie
  • slagen voor de volledige selectieprocedure

Selectiecriteria bij interne mobiliteit:

  • voldoen aan het functieprofiel
  • titularis zijn van een graad van het niveau B 4-5
  • minimaal 1 jaar graadanciënniteit
  • een positief evaluatieresultaat tijdens de laatste evaluatie
  • slagen voor de volledige selectieprocedure

Selectiecriteria bij aanwerving:

  • voldoen aan het functieprofiel
  • diploma bachelor of gelijkwaardig door ervaring
  • minimum 5 jaar relevante ervaring
  • slagen in de volledige selectieprocedure
