The posting

We are looking for Service Technicians and Service Engineers across various industries, including Semiconductor, Electrical Engineering, Marine, Electronics, and Engineering Solutions.

Summary:

  • Basic range: $2300 - $3500
  • 5 days office hours
  • Multiple locations hiring: North/ East/ West
  • MNC with good career growth

Job Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, upgrade and provide technical support for semiconductor equipment at customer sites.
  • Perform equipment setup, modifications, troubleshooting, repairs and preventive maintenance.
  • Identify and resolve electronic and mechanical equipment issues through troubleshooting and necessary adjustments.
  • Develop a strong understanding of equipment systems and operating parameters to support fault diagnosis and process improvements.
  • Support equipment operations at customers’ semiconductor fabs and ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
  • Assist senior engineers with advanced technical tasks, including robot teaching and sub-unit servicing.
  • Handle and maintain assigned jigs and equipment during service operations.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate service reports and technical documentation.
  • Participate in team meetings and technical presentations to share knowledge and updates.
  • Perform 24/7 standby duties according to the assigned roster.
  • Support shift work and ad-hoc delivery duties when required.
  • Collaborate with customers and internal teams to ensure smooth service operations and high customer satisfaction.
  • Travel locally and overseas occasionally for training and customer support.

Requirement:

  • Min Nitec/ Higher Nitec/ Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Microelectronics Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Experience in semiconductor equipment, machine installation, servicing, maintenance, troubleshooting or repair is an advantage
  • Entry levels are welcomed, as training will be provided
