Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the lead site representative and primary contact for all renovation, fit-out, and facilities project activities during venue downtime (night shift).
  • Supervise, coordinate, and inspect appointed contractors, sub-contractors, and consultants to ensure works adhere to approved drawings, timelines, quality benchmarks, and safety standards.
  • Conduct regular site safety inspections, enforce ISO 45001 standards, and implement prompt corrective measures for any unsafe practices or site hazards.
  • Monitor project progress against master schedules, proactively identifying potential risks and resolving overnight operational bottlenecks.
  • Lead night-site briefings and prepare comprehensive daily handover reports, meeting minutes, and photo documentation for the day management team.
  • Handle immediate escalations and ensure works comply strictly with statutory regulations, building codes, and venue policies.

Requirements

  • Education: Minimum Diploma in Building, Civil/Structural Engineering, Facilities Management, or equivalent discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in construction, commercial renovation, or building maintenance. Minimum 1 year of experience acting as a Workplace Safety Officer (WSO) or leading project renovation sites.
  • Mandatory Certifications: Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) certification or equivalent. Valid Working at Height (WAH) certification. Valid Occupational First Aid (OFA) certification.
  • Work Arrangement: Fully comfortable committing to permanent overnight shifts (10:00 PM – 7:30 AM) and working scheduled weekends / Public Holidays. Must possess a personal laptop for site reporting and documentation.
