In particular, the role will develop a three year rolling operational plan for the Governance team, lead on the design and adoption of relevant governance technology and support continuous governance improvements for the boards and their committees and wider management decision making.

  • A strong track record of leading teams, building capability and delivering outcomes through others.
  • Credibility and influence at senior executive level, with the ability to build effective relationships across a complex stakeholder environment.
  • Experience of governance technology, including board portals and entity management systems, and an understanding of how technology can improve governance delivery.
  • Strong knowledge of the governance and regulatory requirements relevant to a FTSE 100 financial services organisation.
  • Understanding of SMCR requirements as they apply to Boards and Non-Executive Directors, including onboarding, governance records, role changes and regulatory documentation within a regulated financial services environment.
  • Strong programme, project and change leadership capability, with experience of delivering sustainable organisational improvement.
  • Desirable: Experience of working within Financial Services, ideally within a FTSE-listed or similarly regulated environment.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
