The posting

We are a provider of specialized fund administration services for Managers and General Partners of private equity funds, specifically: Buy‐out, Venture Capital, Real Estate and Fund‐of‐ Funds. For new General Partners, we provide consulting services to help accelerate the launch of their funds in addition to our full fund administration services. For established General Partners, we provide administration services and technology to whole fund families or select funds, to help scale their fund operations rapidly and efficiently.

Job Overview:

Standish Compliance Services, LLC is a premier Texas-based compliance services provider to private fund firms across the U.S. The firm operates as a boutique compliance practice, providing customized, high-touch outsourced compliance resources and expertise to private fund managers, including hedge funds, private equity funds, real estate funds, oil and gas funds, other alternative investment funds, and select family offices and private wealth managers.

The Compliance Analyst Intern has the opportunity to learn the private fund industry and SEC compliance practice from veteran SEC and industry experts, mid-level seasoned compliance professionals, and dedicated junior team members in an inviting and rewarding atmosphere. The role supports client service teams in helping clients meet regulatory and compliance requirements while gaining hands-on exposure to private fund operations, regulatory frameworks, and compliance programs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support client services teams in helping clients meet regulatory and compliance requirements across the private fund industry.
  • Collaborate with compliance associates and officers as part of a client service team to deliver exceptional compliance services.
  • Gain hands-on exposure to private fund operations, regulatory frameworks, and compliance programs through active participation in client engagements.
  • Maintain compliance calendars and checklists; organize, track, and review firm and employee compliance reporting; and assist with testing and monitoring client compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Assist with preparatory work related to regulatory filings.
  • Provide general operational and client service support as needed, including ad hoc requests.
  • Coordinate and assist with specific projects and initiatives across operations and compliance.

Required Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s or advanced degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, or another Humanities/Human Services field with a strong interest in financial services.
  • Anticipated graduation date in the Fall 2026 or Spring 2027 terms preferred.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and related tools.
  • Ability to analyze and document both business and technical processes.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Willingness to learn new procedures and applications.
  • Ability to handle confidential information, work with limited supervision, and collaborate with other team members.
  • Able to work onsite, not remote, from the Dallas, Texas home office.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Stand-Out Qualifications:

  • Academic focus or demonstrated interest in business administration, finance, accounting, economics, management, communications, journalism, law, operations, consulting, public relations, or related fields.
  • Interest in SEC compliance, private funds, financial services, investment management, governance, or regulatory operations.
  • Experience using Excel or other tools to track, sort, organize, review, or summarize data.
  • Ability to research requirements and summarize information clearly and concisely.
  • Experience working in a professional office environment or supporting collaborative, deadline-driven teams.

Learning Objectives:

  • Learn how compliance calendars, checklists, employee reporting, and testing activities support client compliance programs.
  • Develop practical experience supporting regulatory filing preparation and compliance monitoring tasks.
  • Build professional skills in organization, documentation, client service support, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Participate in internal training and professional development opportunities designed to grow compliance knowledge and skills.

Compensation: $20.00/hour

Duration: 4 Months

Schedule: Part-time: 20-29 hours per week, onsite in the Dallas Office
