  • Develop and manage project work plans, schedules, budgets, staffing plans, and financial performance.
  • Lead multidisciplinary project teams, coordinating architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and owner representatives.
  • Monitor project scope, schedule, and budget while proactively identifying and mitigating project risks.
  • Ensure projects meet client goals for program, budget, schedule, quality, and design intent.
  • Facilitate project meetings, owner meetings, consultant coordination meetings, and construction progress meetings.
  • Manage contract administration, including change orders, additional services, applications for payment, and project documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with Stantec's Project Management Framework and quality management processes.
  • Work closely with Operations and Practice Leadership to forecast staffing needs and allocate project resources.
  • Mentor Assistant Project Managers and emerging professionals while fostering collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.
  • Keep the Principal-in-Charge informed of project status, key decisions, financial performance, and client issues throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead project closeout activities, ensuring successful project delivery and client satisfaction.

  • Proven ability to develop and maintain long-term client relationships while supporting business development and pursuit efforts.
  • Strong understanding of project financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, resource planning, invoicing, and profitability.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of building systems, construction methods, accessibility requirements, life safety codes, and applicable building codes.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities while maintaining exceptional quality and client service.
  • Collaborative leadership style with the ability to inspire and motivate multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities with sound professional judgment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Newforma; experience with Revit, Bluebeam, and project management software is preferred.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Registered Architect (RA) required.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
