We do this through customer insights, analytics, and testing to build a strong innovation pipeline for the future and to bring products and solutions to market seamlessly. We utilize online merchandising and campaigns executed by both humans and automated tools to convert new and returning website visitors into customers. We work end-to-end with our sales, merchandising, finance, logistics and technology teams to provide a world-class, holistic digital experience, growing profitable results in a fun and rewarding work environment. We are inclusive, customer-obsessed, and are looking for well-rounded professionals with strong eCommerce business acumen to join our team.

The Product Manager – Landing Pages is responsible for defining product priorities, managing the product backlog, and translating customer and business needs into actionable product requirements. This role collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to develop and enhance digital products and capabilities that improve customer experience and deliver measurable business results. Leveraging customer insights, analytics, market trends, and business priorities, the Product Manager drives roadmap execution, influences stakeholders, solves complex challenges, and supports innovation across Staples' digital platforms, including opportunities to leverage AI-enabled tools and capabilities.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Define, prioritize, and manage the product backlog for assigned digital products, platforms, and capabilities.
  • Collaborate with business leaders and stakeholders to align product priorities with customer needs, digital strategy, and business objectives.
  • Translate customer insights, analytics, market trends, and stakeholder feedback into user stories, requirements, acceptance criteria, and product recommendations.
  • Serve as a key liaison between business partners, engineering teams, UX, analytics, data science, and external vendors.
  • Prioritize enhancements, defects, technical work, and feature development based on customer value, business impact, team capacity, and delivery timelines.
  • Partner with engineering and UX teams throughout Agile ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, testing, product reviews, and release readiness.
  • Monitor product performance through KPIs, OKRs, customer feedback, and digital analytics to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Drive discovery, experimentation, and continuous improvement efforts that enhance product performance and customer experience.
  • Anticipate, manage, and resolve product issues, dependencies, and risks while ensuring successful delivery outcomes.
  • Utilize AI productivity tools and partner with technical teams to evaluate AI/ML-enabled opportunities that improve customer experiences, operational efficiency, and decision-making.
  • Mentor and support less experienced team members by sharing product management best practices and Agile expertise.

What You Bring To The Table:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and competing business needs.
  • Strong collaboration skills and experience leading cross-functional initiatives without direct authority.
  • Passion for creating customer-focused digital experiences and continuously improving product performance.
  • Agile mindset with the ability to adapt quickly to changing business priorities.
  • Leadership and mentoring capabilities with a commitment to developing others.
  • Curiosity and practical experience leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity and product outcomes.
  • Proven ability to manage and optimize landing pages, category pages, and help-center experiences within a large-scale eCommerce ecosystem, balancing user needs with business goals.
  • Hands-on experience using CMS platforms to operationalize content, configure components, and partner with UX and engineering to deliver functional, user-friendly page experiences.
  • Strong execution discipline with the ability to independently drive feature launches end-to-end—defining requirements, coordinating cross-functional teams, managing Jira workflows, and validating performance through analytics.

What’s Needed- Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Product Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, Marketing, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of product management experience with a focus on digital products or eCommerce platforms.
  • Experience managing product backlogs, user stories, requirements, acceptance criteria, and feature prioritization.
  • Experience delivering digital products through partnership with engineering, UX, analytics, data science, or other technical teams.
  • Proven experience managing products through the full product lifecycle, from concept through launch and continuous improvement.
  • Experience leveraging customer insights, analytics, KPIs, OKRs, and performance metrics to drive product decisions.
  • Strong experience managing multiple stakeholders, priorities, dependencies, and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Experience creating product documentation, roadmap updates, business cases, and stakeholder communications.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a bias toward data-driven decision-making.
  • Comprehensive understanding and practical application of Agile methodologies, tools, and frameworks.

What’s Needed - Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • Agile certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Agilist, PMI-ACP, or similar credentials.
  • Product management certifications such as AIPMM Certified Product Manager.
  • Experience managing products across desktop, mobile, app, or eCommerce platforms.
  • Experience with A/B testing, experimentation, conversion optimization, and customer journey analysis.
  • Experience working with AI/ML-enabled products, personalization, automation, recommendations, search, or other data-driven capabilities.
  • Experience partnering with data science and engineering teams to define success metrics, validate solutions, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Experience using AI productivity tools to support product discovery, analysis, backlog management, and stakeholder communication.
  • Experience working in B2B, commercial eCommerce, retail, supply chain, office products, or related industries.
  • Experience working with enterprise content management systems (e.g., Bloomreach, Adobe, Drupal, Sitecore) to manage landing pages, campaign pages, or help center experiences at scale.
  • Familiarity with digital analytics and session-tracking tools (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, FullStory) to identify user friction, validate improvements, and optimize UX.
  • Experience partnering with SEO, vendor resources, and engineering teams to maintain and enhance store locator pages, service pages, and other SEO-driven landing experiences.

We Offer:

  • Inclusive culture with associate-led Business Resource Groups
  • Flexible PTO (22 days) and Holiday Schedule (7 observed paid holidays + 1 floating holiday)
  • Online and Retail Discounts, Company Match 401(k), Physical and Mental Health Wellness programs, and more!

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
