Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced BCM Engineer to join our team at Star Services LLC. As a BCM Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining business continuity and disaster recovery plans for our organization. You will work closely with our IT team to ensure that our critical business functions can continue to operate in the event of a disruption.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery plans for all critical business functions
  • Conduct risk assessments and business impact analyses to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities
  • Collaborate with IT team to ensure that critical systems and applications are included in the business continuity plan
  • Test and evaluate the effectiveness of the business continuity plan on a regular basis
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure that their business continuity plans are aligned with the overall company plan
  • Train employees on business continuity procedures and provide guidance during emergencies or disasters
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and regulations related to business continuity and disaster recovery
  • Communicate with external vendors and service providers to ensure their business continuity plans align with our organization's needs
  • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on the status of the business continuity program
  • Participate in incident response and crisis management activities as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business continuity planning and disaster recovery
  • Strong knowledge of business continuity and disaster recovery principles, methodologies, and tools
  • Experience with risk assessments and business impact analyses
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards such as ISO 22301, NIST, and ITIL
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
