Position: CAD/GIS Operator E2

Star Services LLC is seeking a highly skilled CAD/GIS Operator E2 to join our team on a full-time, 1 year contract. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining accurate CAD and GIS drawings and maps for various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize CAD and GIS software to create and update accurate drawings and maps for various projects
  • Interpret and analyze data to ensure the accuracy of drawings and maps
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to understand project requirements and provide technical support
  • Maintain and organize project files and documentation
  • Ensure all drawings and maps are in compliance with company standards and industry regulations
  • Troubleshoot any technical issues with CAD and GIS software
  • Keep up-to-date with new software and technology developments in the industry
  • Participate in project meetings and provide progress updates
  • Adhere to project timelines and deadlines

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Geography, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CAD/GIS Operator
  • Proficiency in CAD and GIS software, such as AutoCAD and ArcGIS
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations
  • Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities
  • Experience with 3D modeling and visualization is a plus
