Position: Dispatch Coordinator

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dispatch Coordinator to join our team. The Dispatch Coordinator will be responsible for managing the daily operations of our dispatch department and ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of goods to our clients. This is a full-time position with regular office hours.

Key Responsibilities: - Manage and oversee the daily operations of the dispatch department - Coordinate with drivers and other team members to ensure timely delivery of goods - Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery - Communicate with clients to provide updates on shipment status - Resolve any issues or delays in delivery promptly and efficiently - Maintain accurate records of shipments, including tracking information and delivery details - Analyze data and report on department performance and efficiency - Train and supervise dispatch team members, providing guidance and support as needed - Implement and enforce company policies and procedures related to dispatch operations - Collaborate with other departments to improve overall efficiency and customer satisfaction

Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred - 2-3 years of experience in dispatch operations or a similar role - Strong organizational and time-management skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Proficient in Microsoft Office and logistics software - Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment - Knowledge of transportation regulations and industry best practices - Experience in managing and supervising a team - Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
