Position: Documents Controller (Oil & Gas Co.)

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Documents Controller to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the oil and gas industry and a strong background in document control.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and maintain all documents related to the company's projects, including engineering drawings, technical specifications, and other project documents

- Ensure all documents are properly organized, labeled, and stored in accordance with company standards

- Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely and accurate document submissions and approvals

- Monitor document control processes to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

- Conduct regular audits to ensure document accuracy and completeness

- Work closely with project managers and engineers to identify document control needs and provide support as needed

- Train and mentor junior document control staff

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve document control processes and systems

- Keep up-to-date with industry standards and best practices in document control

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as engineering, business, or information management

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in document control, preferably in the oil and gas industry

- Strong knowledge of document control systems and processes

- Excellent organizational and time management skills

- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and document management software

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Knowledge of oil and gas industry standards and regulations is a plus
