WE ARE HIRING – LADLE REPAIRMAN

Location: UAE Industry: Steel Manufacturing

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Ladle Repairman / Ladle Slide Gate Technician in a steel plant.
  • Hands-on experience in ladle preparation, maintenance and repair.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic slide gate mechanisms and slide gate plate replacement.
  • Experience in changing ladle inner nozzles, collector nozzles and porous plugs.
  • Familiarity with ladle cleaning, oxygen lancing and refractory-related maintenance.
  • Experience with billet casting operations is preferred.
  • Ability to perform oxy-cutting and welding is an advantage.
  • Higher Secondary education or equivalent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, inspect and maintain used and relined ladles for production.
  • Maintain and service hydraulic slide gate mechanisms.
  • Replace slide gate plates, nozzles and porous plugs as required.
  • Clean ladle components and remove slag deposits.
  • Inspect ladle equipment and ensure it is safe and ready for furnace operations.
  • Follow all safety procedures and operational standards.
