Position: Planning Engineer – Instrument

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Planning Engineer – Instrument to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring project schedules for all instrumentation activities. They will also be responsible for coordinating with other departments to ensure timely completion of projects and identifying any potential risks or delays.

Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain project schedules for all instrumentation activities Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other departments to ensure timely completion of projects Identify potential risks or delays and develop mitigation plans Monitor and update project progress and report any deviations from the schedule Prepare regular reports and presentations on project status and progress Analyze data and provide recommendations for improving project efficiency and productivity Ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and regulations Participate in project meetings and provide technical support as needed Mentor and train junior planning engineers on best practices and company procedures

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering or a related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in planning and scheduling for instrumentation projects in the oil and gas industry Strong knowledge of project management principles, techniques, and tools Proficient in using project management software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
