Position: QC Inspector - Material Receiving

Company: Star Services LLC

Location: Taipei, Taiwan

Contract Details: Full-time

Star Services LLC, a leading provider of engineering and construction services in the Oil & Gas industry, is seeking a highly experienced QC Inspector for Material Receiving for our operations in Taipei, Taiwan. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10-12 years of experience in Oil & Gas onshore/offshore pipeline projects and be proficient in Mandarin (reading, writing, and speaking).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct quality inspections on materials received for Oil & Gas onshore/offshore pipeline projects according to project specifications and industry standards.
  • Ensure all materials received are in compliance with project requirements and are of high quality.
  • Perform visual and dimensional inspections, as well as non-destructive testing, on materials.
  • Review material test certificates and other documentation to ensure they meet project specifications.
  • Identify and report any non-conformances and work with the procurement team to resolve any issues.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed inspection records and reports.
  • Work closely with the project team to ensure timely and efficient delivery of materials.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to the project team on quality-related matters.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide updates on material receiving activities.
  • Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10-12 years of experience as a QC Inspector in the Oil & Gas industry, specifically in onshore/offshore pipeline projects.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin (reading, writing, and speaking) is mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards and specifications related to material receiving.
  • Familiarity with non-destructive testing methods and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Valid QC certification is preferred.
