Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Engineer to join our team at Star Services LLC in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that all civil and structural projects meet the required quality standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality control procedures for civil and structural projects
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Review project plans and specifications to identify potential quality issues
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop quality assurance plans
  • Monitor and track quality metrics to identify areas for improvement
  • Investigate and resolve any quality-related issues that arise during construction
  • Train and educate project teams on quality control procedures and best practices
  • Conduct supplier evaluations and audits to ensure materials meet quality standards
  • Participate in project meetings and provide updates on quality control activities
  • Prepare and maintain quality documentation and reports
  • Stay updated on industry standards and regulations related to civil and structural engineering.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control for civil and structural projects
  • Knowledge of construction materials and methods for civil and structural projects
  • Strong understanding of quality control procedures and best practices
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software.
