Star Services LLC is a leading provider of engineering and technical services to the energy industry. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Commissioning Technician (Electrical) to join our team on a full-time basis.

As a Senior Commissioning Technician (Electrical), you will be responsible for overseeing the commissioning process of electrical systems and equipment for various projects. This includes conducting tests, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring that all systems are functioning properly and meeting industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate the commissioning process for electrical systems and equipment
  • Conduct tests and inspections to ensure proper functioning of all electrical systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the commissioning process
  • Ensure that all systems meet industry standards and project specifications
  • Create and maintain commissioning reports and documentation
  • Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure timely and successful completion of projects
  • Train and mentor junior commissioning technicians
  • Keep up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in commissioning processes and procedures

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in commissioning electrical systems and equipment
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems and industry standards
  • Experience with troubleshooting and resolving issues in electrical systems
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
