Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a stakeholder engagement strategy to support the DSM strategy and objectives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government entities, regulatory bodies, industry associations, and consumer groups.
  • Identify and engage with new stakeholders to expand the reach and impact of DSM programs.
  • Act as a liaison between the organization and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and understanding of key issues and concerns.
  • Monitor and analyze stakeholder feedback and perceptions, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of stakeholder engagement efforts.
  • Develop and manage stakeholder engagement plans for specific DSM programs, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Track and report on stakeholder engagement metrics and progress towards goals.
  • Identify potential risks and issues related to stakeholder engagement and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and regulations related to stakeholder engagement.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members on stakeholder engagement strategies and tactics.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in stakeholder engagement, public relations, or a related field.
  • Experience in the energy sector or with demand side management programs is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of stakeholder engagement best practices and strategies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
