Position: Technical Translator

Position Overview: As a Technical Translator, you will be responsible for translating technical documents and materials from one language to another. You will work closely with our team of engineers and technical experts to ensure accurate and effective communication between our company and our clients.

Key Responsibilities: - Translate technical documents, manuals, and other materials from one language to another - Ensure accuracy and consistency of translations by following company standards and guidelines - Collaborate with engineers and technical experts to understand and accurately convey technical information - Conduct research and use technical terminology to ensure accurate translations - Proofread and edit translated materials for grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors - Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all translations - Communicate with clients to understand their translation needs and provide timely and accurate translations - Manage multiple translation projects and meet tight deadlines - Stay updated on industry terminology and advancements to ensure high-quality translations

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field - Proven experience as a Technical Translator, preferably in a technical or engineering industry - Fluency in at least two languages, including English - Strong understanding of technical terminology and concepts - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate translations - Proficient in translation software and tools - Able to work on-site and collaborate with a team - Strong time-management and organizational skills - Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines - Knowledge of cultural differences and ability to adapt translations accordingly
