The posting

In 1932 maakte de Belgische bakker Jan Boone een gekarameliseerd koekje uit enkel natuurlijke ingrediënten. Hij noemde het Lotus naar de bloem die symbool staat voor zuiverheid. In de jaren ’50 begon bakker Boone zijn Speculoos individueel te verpakken. Hij introduceerde ze in horecazaken als ‘koekje voor bij de koffie’. Het concept sloeg in als een bom. Want koffie en Lotus Speculoos vullen elkaar aan. Ze boosten elkaars smaak en vormen het perfecte duo. De populariteit van Lotus Speculoos steeg enorm over de jaren én de grenzen heen. Van een caffè latte tot een espresso to go: wereldwijd vragen koffiedrinkers om een Lotus. Internationaal wordt het koekje Lotus Biscoff een samentrekking van ‘Biscuit with coffee’ genoemd. Intussen is de speculoos veel meer dan een koekje voor bij de koffie. Creatieve chefs gebruiken het ook als ingrediënt in de keuken en dit in verrukkelijke desserts als tiramisu of speculoosmousse.

Jobomschrijving

Voor Lotus Bakeries Oostakker zijn we op zoek naar lijnoperatoren voor de afdeling inpak.

  • Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het verpakkingsproces van één productielijn. Daartoe werk je samen met andere inpakoperatoren
  • Je bedient (= starten, controleren, bevoorraden, oplossen van machine-stops, omstellen, stoppen) op een veilige wijze de verpakkingsmachines
  • Je voert kwaliteitscontroles uit, stuurt bij waar nodig
  • Je zorgt dat het ‘perfect verpakte koekjes’ in de juiste hoeveelheden & op tijd naar de klanten vertrekken
  • Je staat in voor een perfecte hygiëne door het opruimen en kuisen van je werkomgeving en de machines
  • Je rapporteert de resultaten van veiligheid, kwaliteit, orderafwerking en rendementen
  • Je stelt verbeteringsacties voor en helpt deze mee te realiseren
  • Je werkt in 2 ploegen (5 u - 13 u en 13 u - 21 u) of de vaste nacht (21 u - 5 u)
  • Je hebt affiniteit voor techniek en dit stelt jou in staat (eenvoudige) technische storingen in productie op te lossen
  • Je hebt een groot verantwoordelijkheidsgevoel met continue aandacht voor veiligheid, kwaliteit, orde, netheid en nauwkeurigheid
  • Je kan zelfstandig en goed georganiseerd werken aan een vlot werktempo
  • Je bent een teamspeler, collegiaal en flexibel ingesteld en draagt bij tot een aangename werksfeer
  • Je hebt een goed analytisch denkvermogen, je werkt proactief en bij problemen zoek je oorzaakgericht naar oplossingen
  • Je beheert Nederlandse taal
  • Je hebt een eerste ervaring als lijnverantwoordelijke in de voedingssector achter de rug
