Onze klant brengt fulfilment, warehousing, transport en supply chain management samen in één internationaal logistiek netwerk. Ze verbinden wereldwijde slagkracht met lokale marktkennis en zorgen ervoor dat complexe supply chains vlot, slim en efficiënt blijven bewegen. Zo creëren ze logistieke oplossingen die meegroeien met de ambities van hun klanten.

Jobomschrijving

• Je stuurt dagelijks de operationele activiteiten binnen het warehouse aan en zorgt voor een vlotte en efficiënte werking van je afdeling.

• Je begeleidt, motiveert en coacht je team en creëert een positieve, professionele en resultaatgerichte werkomgeving.

• Je bewaakt de vooropgestelde doelstellingen inzake veiligheid, kwaliteit, productiviteit en service en stuurt tijdig bij waar nodig.

• Je neemt ownership over de operationele prestaties van je afdeling en handelt proactief bij afwijkingen of problemen.

• Je verdeelt de werkzaamheden, stelt de juiste prioriteiten en neemt beslissingen op basis van feiten, ook onder tijdsdruk.

• Je toont voorbeeldgedrag op het vlak van veiligheid, kwaliteit, discipline en werkattitude.

• Je voert op een professionele manier coachinggesprekken, evaluaties, verzuimgesprekken en correctieve gesprekken.

• Je communiceert duidelijk en respectvol met medewerkers, collega’s en leidinggevenden en vormt de schakel tussen de werkvloer en het supervisieteam.

• Je signaleert verbeteropportuniteiten en neemt initiatief om processen, prestaties en samenwerking verder te optimaliseren.

• Je hebt een passie voor leidinggeven en haalt energie uit het motiveren, coachen en ontwikkelen van medewerkers.

• Je beschikt over een sterke operationele kennis en begrijpt hoe de verschillende warehouseprocessen elkaar beïnvloeden.

• Je bent resultaatgericht, behoudt het overzicht en weet de juiste prioriteiten te stellen in een dynamische operationele omgeving.

• Je bent sterk in people management en gaat moeilijke gesprekken op een duidelijke, respectvolle en professionele manier aan.

• Je neemt verantwoordelijkheid, werkt proactief en schakelt snel wanneer de operatie daarom vraagt.

• Je hebt oog voor talentontwikkeling en stimuleert medewerkers om zich verder te ontwikkelen binnen de organisatie.

• Je werkt vlot met Outlook, Excel, WMS en andere operationele systemen.

• In deze rol rapporteer je aan de Supervisor.
