Description of the role:

As a Refurb Warehouse Employee at Ed Staub & Sons Petroleum, Inc, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and organized operation of our warehouse. You will play a critical role in refurbishing and preparing our products for resale, maintaining inventory accuracy, and providing support to the warehouse team.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive incoming products and materials, carefully inspecting them for damages or defects
  • Sort, organize, and store items in designated areas
  • Assist with refurbishing and packaging products prior to shipment
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, tracking stock levels, and reporting any discrepancies
  • Follow standard operating procedures to ensure safety and cleanliness in the warehouse
  • Collaborate with team members to fulfill order requests and meet customer expectations
  • Perform periodic audits to ensure product quality and accuracy
  • Communicate effectively with warehouse team and management to address any issues or concerns

Requirements:

  • Prior warehouse or similar work experience preferred
  • Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery
  • Attention to detail and ability to accurately follow instructions
  • Physical dexterity and ability to lift heavy objects
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
