The posting

Focus Noord is een grote middelbare school in Deurne-Noord. We bieden een waaier aan studierichtingen binnen Maatschappij & Welzijn, Economie & Organisatie, Voeding & Horeca en STEM. Voor studenten die liever al doende leren, hebben we ook een groot aanbod duaal leren.

Wat doe je?

  • 7/22 Nederlands eerste graad
  • 6/22 Frans eerste graad
  • 2/21 Frans tweede graad BSO

Dat elke leerling op de juiste plek zit, vinden we het belangrijkste. Als leerkracht help jij hen de weg te vinden: in de eerste plaats naar hun talenten, vervolgens naar het vervolgonderwijs of de arbeidsmarkt. Je bent hun coach op school en onvermijdelijk ook een stukje in het leven. Want voor vele leerlingen is onze school een tweede thuis. Dat is ook waarom jij leerkracht wil zijn op Focus Noord: om het verschil te maken, je passie door te geven en hen persoonlijk te zien groeien.

Wat verwachten we van je?

Om deze rol te vervullen, bouw je een persoonlijke band op met je klassen. Je bent streng, maar zorgzaam. Je investeert veel tijd in structuur, portfoliogesprekken, studeerbundels, differentiatie... Waar nodig speel je kort op de bal en nodig je leerlingen persoonlijk uit voor extra (praktijk)lessen of andere ondersteuning.

Wat mag je van ons verwachten?

De waaier aan talenten die je opmerkt bij onze leerlingen zie je ook terug in het lerarenteam. Je komt terecht in een groot, divers, maar samenhangend team waar je jezelf mag zijn. Je krijgt veel professionele autonomie om jouw passie door te geven aan de leerlingen. Net omdat we zo’n grote school zijn, is samenwerking key. Collega’s delen hun professionele én pedagogische kennis onder elkaar en met de volgende generatie. Samen zetten we alles op alles om de kansen van onze leerlingen te maximaliseren!

Je wordt tewerkgesteld door Stedelijk Onderwijs Antwerpen en wordt vergoed volgens de geldende barema's: https://data-onderwijs.vlaanderen.be/salaris/schalen/. Naast het vaste inkomen ontvang je eveneens:

  • Doorbetaling van de kleine vakantieperiodes indien je een aanstelling hebt de dag voor en de dag na de vakantie
  • Uitgestelde bezoldiging in de zomervakantie (bedrag wordt gebaseerd op de gepresteerde uren tijdens het voorafgaande schooljaar)
  • Vakantiegeld - Eindejaarstoelage
  • Vervoersonkosten (openbaar vervoer, fietsvergoeding)
  • Laptop en internetvergoeding
