Job Description

Are you someone who enjoys turning complex requirements into accurate, customer-facing solutions? Do you thrive when balancing regulatory compliance, customer needs, and changing business priorities while working independently? If you are a detail-oriented professional who enjoys research, problem-solving, and collaborating across all levels of an organization, this may be the perfect opportunity for you.

Helping Our People Thrive

  • Providing a flexible hybrid work schedule, meaning we expect the office to be your primary place of work, balanced with choice and control.
  • Creating continuous learning opportunities to help you grow and upskill.
  • Fostering a culture of inclusion where employees feel seen, heard and valued — and living it out every day.
  • Empowering you to make a meaningful impact on people and the planet through your work and Steelcase’s ongoing commitment.

Supporting Meaningful Work

  • Use 3D engineering CAD models to create technical illustrations for product assembly directions, disassembly directions, separability content, product labels, and post product sale service parts catalogs.
  • Creating and maintaining product labels, including Product ID, Safety, UL, and other regulatory or customer-facing labels
  • Managing and governing the Label Library within Windchill to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance
  • Researching federal, state, and industry regulatory requirements and translating findings into label content and updates
  • Driving prioritization of multiple projects and deadlines while navigating large volumes of revisions and extended implementation lead times
  • Collaborating with Legal, Engineering, Product Development, Manufacturing, and Customer teams to balance business needs with compliance requirements
  • Maintain graphics master data within the Windchill & product symbol library application throughout the product life cycle
  • Work across global and regional teams, using appropriate agile methodologies, and other practices, to ensure project timeliness, consistency, and quality standards are achieved

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Technical Communication, Information Management, or equivalent practical or relevant work experience
  • 3+ years of experience managing technical, regulatory, product data, documentation, labeling, or compliance-related content
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator
  • Strong capability for interpreting engineering drawings, sketches, methods and terminology
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, time management, listening, and customer service skills
  • Capability to work both collaboratively and independently, while remaining accountable and delivering projects on time
  • Ability to manage multiple job requests involving many different types of products, sometimes daily and often over the span of several months.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and CAD software
  • Familiarity with Agile terms (backlog, burndown chart, estimation, blockers) and methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Experience creating or supporting Assembly Directions or other technical documentation in Windchill or similar applications
  • Advanced research and analytical skills with the ability to interpret changing regulatory requirements
  • Experience balancing legal, regulatory, and customer requirements in a business environment
  • Technical aptitude, including experience creating macros or automating repetitive processes
  • Experience working with large volumes of product data, revisions, and controlled documentation
  • Driving cost efficiency by maximizing reuse of existing labels and minimizing the size of new labels through streamlined content and optimized layout design

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
