About the Team

The AppMarket team within Stellantis’ Software Development organization builds connected applications and services that enhance the driving experience for millions of customers worldwide. By delivering features across in-vehicle systems, backend services, and client applications, we contribute directly to Stellantis’ transformation into a software-driven mobility company.

Role Overview

We are seeking an Entry Level Software Developer who is eager to learn and grow while building customer-facing web applications and the backend services that support them. Working alongside senior engineers, you will contribute to features across the full stack, from user interfaces to APIs and cloud deployment, and learn how web applications integrate with mobile, vehicle, and partner systems.

This is a hands-on development role with structured mentorship, focused on writing quality code, learning modern engineering practices, and delivering features to production.

Key Responsibilities

Front-End Development

Develop and maintain web application features using JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and modern frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue).

Implement user interfaces from design specifications, ensuring responsiveness and accessibility.

Fix bugs and improve usability and performance of existing applications.

Back-End & API Development

Assist in building and maintaining APIs and backend services using Node.js, Java, or Python.

Write queries and work with relational and NoSQL databases.

Integrate front-end applications with internal and third-party APIs.

Quality & Reliability

Write unit and integration tests and participate in code reviews.

Use Git and CI/CD pipelines to build, test, and deploy code.

Help investigate and resolve production issues with guidance from senior engineers.

Follow secure coding practices and team engineering standards.

Learning & Growth

Learn the team’s architecture, tools, and cloud platform (AWS) through hands-on work and mentorship.

Ask questions, seek feedback, and continuously improve technical skills.

Document code, processes, and learnings to support the team.

Collaboration

Work closely with engineers, product, UX/design, and validation teams to deliver features.

Participate in agile ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
  • A minimum of 2 years of professional software development experience
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Familiarity with at least one front-end framework (React, Angular, or Vue).
  • Basic understanding of backend development and REST APIs using Node.js, Java, or Python.
  • Basic understanding of databases and SQL.
  • Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, willingness to learn, and good communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), especially services such as Lambda, API Gateway, or S3.
  • Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Jest, Cypress, JUnit, pytest).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and containers (Docker).
  • A portfolio, GitHub profile, or projects demonstrating web development work.
  • Awareness of web accessibility (WCAG) and web security basics (OWASP Top 10).
  • Interest in connected systems (automotive, IoT, or mobile applications).
  • Familiarity with agile development practices.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.
