Job Description:

Summary:

The New York Mets are seeking a Technology Solutions Manager to manage the delivery, support, and continuous improvement of technology solutions across Citi Field and other Mets facilities. This hands-on role will own internal and third-party applications, with an emphasis on fan-facing technology, corporate systems, CRM platforms, and AI-enabled tools that improve business operations. The role partners with business leaders, engineers, vendors, and end users to translate needs into secure, scalable, and reliable solutions while ensuring operational readiness for games and events.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Solutions Implementation and Management

  • Manage the maintenance, support, governance, and scaling of a broad portfolio of applications that enable internal operations, ballpark operations, fan engagement, and other organizational initiatives
  • Manage solution delivery across the full project lifecycle, including discovery, requirements, architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, adoption, support, and continuous improvement
  • Support the design and development of user-facing and internal applications, contributing hands-on when appropriate and ensuring solutions are reliable, maintainable, secure, and well documented
  • Translate technical and business requirements into scalable solution architectures, implementation plans, and measurable outcomes
  • Coordinate cross-functional collaboration among engineers, vendors, business stakeholders, and end users to validate requirements, manage dependencies, and deliver successful product rollouts
  • Evaluate integrations, upgrades, data flows, security considerations, and support models to ensure solutions are ready for ballpark and enterprise use
  • Research and evaluate technologies, platforms, and third-party partners; maintain clear records of evaluations, decisions, risks, and recommendations
  • Create clear business and technical requirements that define the problem, user needs, constraints, desired outcomes, success measures, and support expectations
  • Maintain project plans, priorities, budgets, risks, vendor activities, meetings, and stakeholder communications to keep initiatives aligned with agreed scope and schedules
  • Define and coordinate testing practices, including quality assurance, unit, integration, user acceptance, performance, and operational-readiness testing
  • Manage the administration, roadmap, governance, data quality, security, integrations, and ongoing optimization of CRM platforms and related customer, partner, and fan-engagement workflows as part of the broader application portfolio
  • Partner with Sales, Service, Marketing, Operations, and other stakeholders to deliver improvements to CRM reporting, segmentation, automation, and user experience
  • Establish and maintain standards for CRM configuration, release management, access controls, documentation, training, and vendor support within the broader solution-governance framework
  • Identify, prioritize, and deliver practical AI and automation solutions that streamline workflows, improve decision-making, enhance service, and reduce manual effort
  • Use generative AI, low-code tools, APIs, and scripting to prototype and build secure internal solutions, applying appropriate human oversight, privacy, data-governance, and responsible-use standards throughout the delivery lifecycle

Solution and Application Support

  • Coordinate technical readiness and provide hands-on support for Citi Field games and events, working with internal teams, vendors, escalation paths, and communications
  • Serve as the escalation owner for game-day fan-facing technology issues, including Point-of-Sale (POS), identity and access technologies, security solutions, CRM-connected experiences, and other critical platforms
  • Drive rapid assessment and troubleshooting of incidents while ensuring timely communication, documentation, root-cause analysis, and follow-through
  • Coordinate vendor response and internal resources to restore service quickly and minimize operational impact
  • Coordinate repair, maintenance, lifecycle, and readiness activities for critical technology used during games and events
  • Ensure critical systems are operational at least three hours before each game and that post-event equipment care, issue review, and follow-up are completed
  • Maintain support procedures, architecture references, runbooks, knowledge articles, and training materials for supported hardware and software
  • Provide Level 3 support for business-critical internally developed and third-party applications, ensuring clear ownership and service expectations
  • Manage the intake, prioritization, triage, escalation, and resolution of production questions and incidents; use trend analysis to reduce recurring issues
  • Define adoption and performance measures, monitor solution value, and continuously refine CRM, AI, and automation capabilities based on business outcomes, operational performance, and user feedback

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, business technology, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience will be considered
  • Substantial progressive experience delivering and supporting business technology solutions, including managing systems, projects, vendors, or complex technical initiatives
  • Strong experience with Microsoft technologies, cloud services, collaboration platforms, low-code tools, and enterprise integrations
  • Demonstrated experience administering or managing a CRM platform, including data governance, workflows, integrations, reporting, user access, releases, and adoption
  • Experience applying generative AI, automation, APIs, scripting, or low-code development to create tools and improve business processes; understanding of responsible AI, security, and privacy practices
  • Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional initiatives and work effectively with business leaders, product owners, designers, analysts, engineers, vendors, and end users
  • Strong written, verbal, presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to explain technical topics to nontechnical audiences
  • Strong organizational judgment and the ability to prioritize multiple initiatives, manage changing business needs, and make effective decisions during high-pressure events
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including games, events, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required; occasional travel to other venues may be necessary

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
