The posting

At Stoke, we believe a thriving space economy will enable a vibrant, sustainable, and equitable future here on Earth. That is why we’re building Nova, our fully and rapidly reusable launch vehicle. Designed for daily flight, Nova tackles the core challenges of space transportation by reducing cost, increasing availability, and improving reliability. By radically lowering launch costs and increasing flight cadence, we’re helping create a truly scalable space industry.

Our team is mission-driven, collaborative, and empowered to take ownership of their work. If you want to work alongside some of the most dedicated and talented people on Earth, we’d love to have you join us.

Description

The Facilities Engineer will support the engineering, design, operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of critical infrastructure systems that support rocket design, production, and testing. This is a hands-on engineering role requiring strong technical expertise, field execution, vendor negotiation and management, and the ability to make priority and data-driven decisions under pressure. • Coordinate and oversee contractors and vendors, including project scoping, contract negotiation, priority and task management, and upholding safety standards and accountability
  • Support emergency response, incident investigations, root cause investigations, and recovery efforts associated with facility or infrastructure failures
  • Support the development of preventive and predictive maintenance strategies designed to improve system uptime, reliability, maintainability, and equipment life.
  • Coordinate and work directly with facility landlords, local government officials, permitting, fire department, utility providers, and vendors to coordinate and own tenant improvements, facility upgrades and repairs, and facility support

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
