About Stoke:

Stoke Therapeutics (Nasdaq: STOK), is a biotechnology company dedicated to restoring protein expression by harnessing the body’s potential with RNA medicine. Using Stoke’s proprietary TANGO (Targeted Augmentation of Nuclear Gene Output) approach, Stoke is developing antisense oligonucleotides (ASOs) to selectively restore naturally-occurring protein levels. Stoke’s first medicine in development, zorevunersen, has demonstrated the potential for disease modification in patients with Dravet syndrome and is currently being evaluated in a Phase 3 study. Stoke’s initial focus are diseases of the central nervous system and the eye that are caused by a loss of ~50% of normal protein levels (haploinsufficiency). Proof of concept has been demonstrated in other organs, tissues, and systems, supporting broad potential for Stoke’s proprietary approach. Stoke is headquartered in Bedford, Massachusetts. • Lead nonclinical content generation and messaging for regulatory submissions such as IND, NDA, and other global regulatory submissions, and representation at interactions with regulatory agency authorities.
  • Evaluate and proactively manage external partners, including contract research organizations, consultants, and scientific collaborators, to ensure timely execution, adherence to budget and overall operational excellence.
  • Communicate nonclinical strategy, program risks, and development recommendations clearly to executive leadership and other key stakeholders, including presentations to the executive leadership team and Board of Directors.
  • Serve as a key pillar of the R&D leadership team, helping define and execute the company’s drug development vision and strategy while driving a collaborative, egalitarian culture driven by scientific rigor, excellence, accountability, portfolio focus, and patient impact and defined by kindness and mutual respect.

Candidate Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in pharmacology, toxicology, pharmaceutical sciences, or a related discipline; PhD or MD required.
  • Significant leadership experience within biotechnology or pharmaceutical drug development, preferably including rare diseases.
  • Demonstrated expertise across the development continuum leading pharmacology, toxicology, and DMPK, with the ability to integrate these functions into a unified nonclinical strategy.
  • Experience developing advanced therapies (e.g., cell and gene, siRNA, mRNA) required.
  • Experience advancing programs from discovery through IND and through clinical development, with experience supporting NDA/BLA or equivalent registrational regulatory submission required.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
