Who we are

About Stripe

Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies - from the world’s largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups - use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone's reach while doing the most important work of your career.

About the team

The Sales Strategy & Operations team is responsible for the overall productivity and effectiveness of the sales organization, partnering closely with the sales team and other teams across Stripe to drive highly strategic initiatives. This team is integral in the success of our sales organization. With a commitment to excellence and a deep understanding of the art and science of sales, our team is dedicated to informing the sales strategy, optimising processes, and providing insights that propel our sales growth. We do this by being objective, trusted partners to the Sales Leadership team.

What you’ll do

We are seeking a technically sophisticated and detail oriented individual who will serve as a Sales Strategy and Operations Data Analyst in support of the AMER Velocity (Commercial and SMB) business. This person will be responsible for improving the quality of sales analytics and insights, including standardization of reporting and scalability with the primary objective of enabling sales leadership to make effective, analytically driven decisions. You will work primarily with Sales Leadership and other cross-functional business partners to drive the operational cadence and strategy/planning of the business.

Responsibilities

  • Operating Cadence: Execute on a standard weekly, monthly and quarterly cadence of operations (weekly forecasting calls, monthly business reviews, quarterly business reviews).
  • Business Insights: Develop a deep understanding of the Velocity business and its sales funnel. Provide actionable insights and a strategic perspective on business performance to help inform key decisions. Effectively communicate insights and recommendations to business leads and influence strategic decision-making.
  • Strategy / Planning: Analyze sales and revenue data and other metrics to build models and provide actionable recommendations to shape the strategy during the annual planning process (resource planning, territory design, target/quota setting and management).
  • Program and Process Management: Independently develop and manage project or program plans to support requests from key stakeholder and core operational planning processes. Manage segment wide operational processes and programs including but not limited to sales territory development.
  • Scalable Insight: Conceptualize, build, manage and maintain centralized tools (including spreadsheet models, dashboards) that the business and Sales Strategy & Operations team can use to extract data / insights for daily business management in an automated manner to drive current and future rhythms of business. As a result of insights, identify and improve the usability and accessibility of insights from existing systems and tools, in collaboration with respective development teams.

Who you are

We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.

Minimum requirements

  • 3–5 years of work experience in B2B sales strategy and operations and/or business analytics, business strategy/operations, data science, investment banking, management consulting, and/or related domains.
  • Strong analytical skills, business intuition and a structured approach to solving complex business problems.
  • User-first mindset: Ability to work proactively and collaboratively with stakeholders, particularly in clearly communicating data insights and takeaways.
  • Has an enthusiastic “roll up your sleeves” mentality. Pragmatic problem solver, with a bias to action and “getting things done”. Passionate about driving business outcomes and change at the ground level.
  • Ability to communicate technical content to non-technical audiences and translate business insights into practical recommendations, with a willingness to grow into presenting to leadership.
  • Experience initiating and completing analytical projects, taking a structured approach to solving unique business problems.
  • Experience in Salesforce (or other CRM). Intermediate to advanced SQL and strong Google Sheets or Excel modeling skills.
  • Experience working with large data sets, especially in analyzing large imperfect data sets to creatively solve problems and creating scalable reports and dashboards or ad-hoc analysis in a fast-paced, high-volume business.

Preferred qualifications

  • Proficiency in BI visualization tools (e.g., Tableau).
  • Interest in learning and applying AI tools to improve analytical and operational workflows.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
