The posting

Company Overview:

Strive Pharmacy is a personalized compounding pharmacy built on a simple conviction: medicine should fit the patient, not the other way around. We started Strive because we believed the pharmaceutical industry was overdue for a more human approach—one that prioritizes individualized care, clinical nuance, and genuine partnership with patients and providers.

Compounding gives us the tools to do that. Every formulation we prepare is built to the specific needs of a specific person, and every interaction we have is guided by that same commitment to personalized care.

We're growing, and we're looking for people who share that conviction. If you're ready to be part of a pharmacy that takes the work seriously and the people even more seriously, we'd like to meet you.

Mission:

Strive exists to disrupt an industry long overdue for a more personal approach to care. We put the human element at the center of everything: every formulation, every patient interaction, every provider partnership. We're not just a compounding pharmacy. We're a team on a mission to change what personalized healthcare looks and feels like.

Position Type: Full-Time

Position Overview:

The Clinical Care Pharmacist Manager leads the Clinical Care Supervisor and Trainer team, ensuring the department delivers accurate, compliant, and clinically sound service to patients and providers. This role owns the strategic and operational health of the clinical care function—identifying process gaps, developing solutions in partnership with other department leaders, and driving those solutions through the supervisor team to the frontline. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable thinking several steps ahead on process strategy and rolling up their sleeves to make sure a change actually lands with the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership Manage and develop Clinical Care Supervisors and the Trainer, setting clear expectations, providing regular coaching, and building leadership capability within the team. Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement across the clinical care function. Conduct regular 1:1s with direct reports focused on both performance and professional growth.
  • Strategic Process Improvement Identify recurring process, workflow, and quality issues by analyzing performance data, escalation trends, and supervisor feedback; diagnose root causes rather than one-off fixes. Think strategically about long-term solutions to operational and clinical process challenges, weighing tradeoffs across quality, compliance, staffing, and patient/provider experience. Own process and SOP improvement initiatives from idea through implementation.
  • Cross-Departmental Partnership Partner with leaders in Operations, Workforce Management, Compliance, and Training to bring clinical perspective into broader operational decisions, and to bring operational reality into clinical process design. Represent the clinical care team in cross-functional problem-solving discussions, ensuring solutions work in practice, not just on paper. Collaborate with Workforce Management and Operations leadership on staffing, scheduling, and service-level strategy.
  • Execution & Change Management Translate strategic decisions into clear, actionable plans that supervisors can execute with their teams. Work with supervisors to determine the most effective way to disseminate process changes downstream, tailoring the approach to the team and the change. Get creative with how change is communicated—the goal is understanding and adoption, not just notification. Stay connected with the broader clinical care team, not just supervisors, to gather real-time feedback on how changes are landing, and adjust course as needed.
  • Quality, Compliance & Clinical Escalation Serve as the escalation point for the most complex clinical or process-related issues supervisors bring forward. Ensure the department maintains adherence to SOPs, pharmacy regulations, and quality standards. Champion a culture of proactive reporting and continuous improvement, particularly around patient safety, medication errors, and adverse events.
  • Documentation & Training Oversight Oversee the development and maintenance of training and process documentation, in partnership with the Trainer, to ensure consistency across the team. Provide clinical and frontline input into policy and SOP development.

Required Qualifications:

  • Active Arizona Pharmacist License
  • Experience with pharmacy operations and clinical decision-making
  • Proficiency in call center tools, pharmacy management systems, and workforce management software

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of leadership experience in a pharmacy or call center setting, including experience leading through other leaders (managing supervisors, not just individual contributors)
  • Demonstrated strategic and analytical thinking, with the ability to translate data and trends into actionable process improvements
  • Strong track record of cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management
  • Skilled in change management and communication, with the ability to build buy-in and drive adoption of new processes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Empathetic leadership and conflict resolution abilities

Work Environment:

This position is primarily based in an onsite work environment. The role requires regular periods of sitting, standing, and computer use, with occasional lifting as needed. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.

Join Us in Making an Impact:

At Strive, the work is real and the impact is direct. Every role here contributes to a patient experience that's more personal, more attentive, and more human than what most people have come to expect from a pharmacy. Apply today and help us raise the bar.

  • Employer-paid healthcare coverage, effective the 1st day of the following month of your hire date
  • Free Strive compounded medications for employees based on a valid patient-specific prescription from a licensed healthcare provider

  • FSA and HSA options
  • Parental leave
  • 401(k) with employer matching
  • Life insurance

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
