  • Monitor team productivity, accuracy, turnaround times, and overall performance, providing regular reporting and updates to leadership.
  • Review and approve complex or high-risk transactions, including hardship withdrawals, Qualified Domestic Relations Orders (QDROs), required minimum distributions (RMDs), and terminated-plan distributions.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for complex issues involving recordkeepers, clients, and plan participants, ensuring timely and effective resolution.

  • Develop, document, and maintain operational procedures, checklists, and internal controls to promote consistency, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve operational efficiency, and implement process improvements or automation.
  • Oversee the accuracy and integrity of information maintained in PensionPro, FT William, recordkeeper platforms, and ERISApedia.
  • Stay informed of regulatory and legislative developments affecting retirement plan loans and distributions, updating team procedures as needed.
  • Collaborate with Relationship Managers, Plan Administrators, and leadership to deliver exceptional client service and support Finway's 3(16) fiduciary responsibilities.
  • Provide hands-on support with transaction processing and client or participant calls during periods of increased volume.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience processing retirement plan loans and distributions, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or team leadership role.
  • Strong working knowledge of qualified retirement plan documents and applicable IRS and Department of Labor (DOL) regulations governing loans, distributions, and tax withholding.
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams in high-volume processing environments with established service-level expectations and turnaround metrics.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement efficient workflows, documented procedures, and quality-control processes.
  • Experience working with major retirement plan recordkeepers, including Empower, Voya, John Hancock, Principal, and Transamerica, is a plus.
  • Familiarity with PensionPro, FT William, and ERISApedia preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with sound judgment when addressing complex or escalated issues.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize competing deadlines and maintain accuracy.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
