The Senior Demand Planner partners closely with Sales, Category Management, Finance, Supply Planning, and Operations to communicate forecast drivers, assumptions, risks, and opportunities while advancing planning maturity, governance, and analytical capability across the organization.

You’ll add value to this role through the following, but not limited to:

  • Develop, own, and continuously improve high-quality demand forecasts using historical sales, shipment, depletion, and consumption data.
  • Analyze forecast accuracy, bias, value-add, volatility, and stability across categories; identify root causes and lead corrective actions.
  • Improve forecasting models, assumptions, and processes to strengthen forecast quality and business confidence.
  • Manage complex demand forecasting unit structures and lifecycle events, including new product introductions, phase-ins, and phase-outs, based on enterprise risk and value.
  • Lead and influence Integrated Business Planning demand consensus discussions for assigned categories.
  • Perform cross-category and portfolio-level consolidation to identify aggregate demand trends, trade-offs, risks, and opportunities.
  • Provide forward-looking analysis and recommendations to support enterprise decision-making and scenario planning.
  • Translate commercial strategies, promotions, market dynamics, and external data into quantified demand impacts.
  • Conduct benchmarking and comparative analysis to improve forecast quality and planning effectiveness.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for demand planning processes, tools, and data, including enterprise planning and reporting systems.
  • Partner with Planning COE, IT, and Analytics teams to support enhancements, adoption, process documentation, and governance.
  • Support onboarding and training of Demand Planners through hands-on coaching, mentoring, playbooks, and knowledge-sharing forums.
  • Lead special projects and transformation initiatives related to forecasting methods, process redesign, analytics enhancements, and planning capability.
  • Represent Demand Planning in cross-functional initiatives and ensure planning implications are addressed.
  • Influence senior stakeholders through clear communication of drivers, constraints, trade-offs, and data-driven demand planning recommendations.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
