Onze klant is een West-Vlaamse familiale KMO met internationale klanten, actief in de ontwikkeling van innovatieve machines en automatiseringsoplossingen voor diverse industriële sectoren.

Als Mechanical design engineer vertaal je technische ideeën naar concrete en maakbare oplossingen. Je werkt nauw samen met ontwerp- en productieteams om machines continu te verbeteren en zorgt ervoor dat alle ontwerpen technisch correct en uitvoerbaar zijn.

Ontwerp & engineering

  • Omzetten van 3D-modellen naar gedetailleerde 2D-productietekeningen.
  • Opstellen van technische documentatie zoals handleidingen, montagevoorschriften en stuklijsten.
  • Beheren en optimaliseren van ontwerpbestanden.
  • Begeleiden van ontwerpen richting productie en bijsturen waar nodig.

Productie & opvolging

  • Ondersteunen van productie bij technische vragen en interpretatie van tekeningen.
  • Opvolgen van het productieproces en verwerken van wijzigingen.
  • Optimaliseren van ontwerpen op basis van feedback uit productie en montage.

Projecten & samenwerking

  • Meewerken aan kleinere ontwerp- en verbeterprojecten.
  • Technische afstemming met interne teams, klanten en leveranciers.
  • Actief meedenken over efficiëntere en kostbewuste oplossingen.
  • Diploma in mechanica, elektromechanica, mechatronica of gelijkwaardige ervaring.
  • Eerste relevante ervaring in een technische of ontwerpgerichte functie.
  • Sterke kennis van 3D CAD-software (bij voorkeur Creo Elements) en parametrisch ontwerpen.
  • Praktisch ingesteld, met oog voor maakbaarheid.
  • Nauwkeurig, gestructureerd en oplossingsgericht werken.
