SUJONOHUN is a Singapore-based interior design studio specialising in high-end residential developments, bespoke private residences, hospitality-inspired interiors, and commercial spaces.

Our design philosophy is rooted in thoughtful creativity, refined aesthetics, and meticulous attention to detail. We work closely with established property developers, private clients, and industry partners to create distinctive and meaningful spaces.

As our studio continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Design Director to strengthen our design leadership, expand our business opportunities, and build long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities across residential, hospitality, and commercial sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with property developers, architects, consultants, and private clients.
  • Lead client presentations, project pitches, proposals, and fee negotiations.
  • Develop business strategies to expand the studio's client portfolio and market presence.
  • Provide creative direction and oversee design quality across key projects.
  • Collaborate with the design team to develop compelling concepts and presentations.
  • Work closely with management on project opportunities, commercial viability, and strategic growth.
  • Represent the studio at industry events and networking opportunities.

Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of relevant industry experience, preferably in a senior or client-facing role.
  • Strong understanding of the interior design, property development, and architectural industries.
  • Established industry connections and proven business development experience are highly advantageous.
  • Strong design sensibility with excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Commercially minded, proactive, and capable of working independently.
  • Strong leadership and relationship management abilities.
