POSITION SUMMARY

The Director, Customer Solution Engineering position is located in Hillsboro, OR, to support the hardware, design and supply chain engineering business objectives of HTA’s Semiconductor Equipment Division.

This role requires a strategic technical and commercial approach, analyzing Hitachi supply chain for disruption risks, continuity robustness and business expansion opportunities, working closely with HTA SCT and HHT KSD. Understanding key customer productivity and manufacturability concerns on Hitachi etch toolsets as technology nodes advance, as well as EOL concerns, this position will lead an engineering team at HTA to identify hardware and design solutions to overcome these challenges, translating internal and customer requirements into actionable development roadmaps, driving execution from proof of concept through qualification and implementation.

This role serves as a key technical interface between HTA, our local customer, HHT and key Hitachi group company internal engineering and development organizations, ensuring current customer needs are addressed while proactively and collaboratively identifying and developing solutions for future technology nodes requirements.

Director will also be involved in driving digital services development, commercialization and customer adoption. While primarily focused on SED solutions, Director will also be required to actively seek to collaborate with MAD on both HW and digital services

The position combines hardware and design development leadership, cross-functional program management, strategic planning and commercial enablement towards business expansion. Travel to Japan and other locations will be necessary to build relationships and drive strategic programs of key importance to all Hitachi stakeholders.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
