The posting

We are seeking Licensed Respiratory Therapists (RRT or CRT) for positions at several locations throughout Central and Southern Illinois.

Join a leading respiratory care organization specializing in providing high-quality pulmonary and respiratory services within skilled nursing and post-acute care facilities. This role offers the opportunity to work with patients requiring specialized respiratory support, including ventilator and tracheostomy care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide respiratory therapy services to patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions.
  • Manage and monitor ventilator-dependent and tracheostomy patients.
  • Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and airway clearance procedures.
  • Perform suctioning, ventilator monitoring, and respiratory assessments.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments according to physician orders.
  • Maintain accurate patient documentation and ensure compliance with clinical standards.
  • Respond to respiratory emergencies and provide appropriate interventions.

Requirements

  • Active Illinois Respiratory Therapist license (RRT or CRT) – Required
  • Current BLS/CPR certification – Required
  • Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or post-acute settings preferred.
  • Experience with ventilator and tracheostomy management preferred.
  • Strong communication, clinical judgment, and patient care skills.
